One thing to say: WOW.

This night was amazing, and from several points of view!

First, the dresses! Oscars' Redcarpet is THE redcarpet you have to shine on . As Cameron Diaz said, "This needs a full process" *lol*
Well, Let's have a quick overview of the Fashion Redcarpet...

Here is Rooney Marain her Givenchy gown. She was as shy and delicate as she is dark and crazy in "The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo". Wonderful!

Jessica Chastain wearing Mc Queen. I can only love, but during the ceremony, we could see that it was not the most easy dress to sit with !

A very classy and funny, Sandra Bullock who stated that, during the Oscars "Everything is gonna be sexy" is wearing a very elegant Marchesa dress. The ring fits perfectly the golden embellishment of the dress and to my mind, there is no such thing as back cleavage to be really hot!

Gwyneth Paltrow was the intelligent beauty of the night. Tom Ford made this very architectural dress but also the Cloak/Coat that prevented her from being cold on the redcarpet! That was a very original and smart choice!

You could also see Jenifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz (wearing Gucci), Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone with beautiful dresses but to me, not exceptionnal.
Many people were mesmerized by Michelle Williams but I have to say that I am not very keen on short hair with the gowns that she is chosing. Moreover, the dress (normaly Coral) doesn't look good on the pictures, which is a big problem for an event like Oscars. See by yourself...

The night was full of humor, thanks to Billy Crystal and awkward speeches! It was also a ceremony full of emotion, reminding of all the great talents dead this year.
The sublime performance of "Le Cirque du Soleil" added more magic to the ceremony.

But the very special moment to me, as a french girl, was when Jean Dujardin won the Oscar for Best Actor in "The Artist". His speech was incredibly fun, and it was so good to see him with Alexandra Lamy, sharing this moment after all their years together. Going from "Un gar une fille" to the Oscars is a great step, congratulations!

Chouchou and Loulou were so beautiful !

Here we go again! For the second time i am going to post about Stylistpick. Well if you do not know about , you better first read my previous post: My new way to shop!

If you live in London you may be interested in going to the stylistpick pop up shop at Westfield London, and purchase some of their lovely items. And if you are already a VIP member you can even book one of their VIP events that you may have received in your mail box. However you have to hurry up, the pop up shop is open since the 23th February to the 4th March.

On the 20th of February, The Core went to the Vogue Talents Cocktail Party, created by Vogue Italia and held at the Italian Cultural Institute in London. It was the perfect opportunity to meet the designers that have the occasion to introduce themselves to british public, talk about their brands and perspectives with a drink in a  relaxed  atmosphere.

Earlier this week, Mercedes-Benz was hosting the New York Fashion Week, which is in many ways different than the french one.
It is the occasion for famous Maisons and more actual designers to meet and share public : New York Catwalks welcome Diane Von Furstenberg and Nicole Miller at the same time.  To put it in a nutshell, there is room for everybody!
Let's have a quick overview of this week!

Hey (;

Without a doubt, everyone of us has heard about the most popular boys band of our time; One Direction, who scored a monster hit with 'What makes you beautiful'. The band, consisting of Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles finished third in the contest X-Factor 2010 and signed a contract with Syco after.

A few weeks ago, the band visited the Netherlands after a contest organised for the countries Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany, called 'Bring1DToMe'. It took place in Hotel Arena in Amsterdam with a Q&A and signing session for their fans, and I have to say it was a rather hilarious experience for me. My friend Kim, a big fan of Louis Tomlinson, got us some tickets to join hundreds of screaming teenage fans in anticipation for their beloved band ;p

Hi there,

Some of you may know it, every year, Vogue celebrates Fashion worldwide.
As September is the most important month in fashion industry (Take a deep look at "The September Issue" if you have not yet!), Vogue chose to make it all happen on the 8th of September.

This is occasion to see all Luxuous Brands open until late at night. I attended the Vogue Fashion Night last year and I have to admit it is quite electric.

I did my first steps in Big Fashion, I would say, during my training in Paris. I have been lucky enough to attend fashion week 2010, Haute Couture and Ready to Wear sessions.
Stop talking, let's have a look...

Hey guys, we were suppose to post about this magazine and its party since a long time but we are real busy bees.
Let us introduce you Proud Magazine that exists since 2008. The Proud Party was then a way to celebrate their 3rd anniversary. Thank's to one of the owner of the magazine The Core was able to attend this event on the 15th of July hosted by the Arena (awesome place by the way)the photos were prohibited, but official photos or videos may come.

 Hey dearies,

as everyone of us knows, a few days ago, the world premiere of "Harry Potter and the deadly hallows part 2" took place at the Trafalgar Square in London! Thousands of people from all over the world came together to say their final goodbye to Harry Potter, and I was one of the lucky ones who could get a spot at the red carpet! Already days before people were sleeping outside, waiting for July 7th, and as expected, those nights were typical London weather! Rain was pouring from the sky but that didn’t stop the fans.

 Hola!

The 28th of May I visted the Tattooconvention in Dortmund Germany with one of my best friends Kim (http://twitter.com/#!/KimiTomiDoll), and my mum. Kim and I seem to have a little ‘obsession’ with the guys from the television show ‘Miami Ink’, and because they were present as ‘special guests’ we definitely HAD to be there! We left Belgium in the afternoon and drove more than 3 hours to get there! Once there, we met with my friend Jana and went inside. The first thing to do: finding the Miami Ink crew! We searched them on the map of the convention and discovered in the middle ‘Ruthless and Toothless’ and remembered this is the brand Yoji Harada and Darren Brass launched. So, as expected, we found the guys there and we got to take a picture with Yoji Harada :D.

Last year I graduated and I got my degree in ‘Fashion and Creation’. This subject in school gives young people who have a passion for fashion and art, the chance to develop and use their creativity as comprehensive as possible. The education consists of deepening yourself into art, artists, fashion and fashion designers. You get the chance to put all your fashionable ideas on paper, and professionals show you how to process your own designs into real, (sometimes) wearable creations! Each year, this school organizes a fashion show to show the great talent of its students to the outside world. They introduce their own creations and this in a very professional way. Tomorrow evening (May 27) is the ninth edition, and I will definitely be there to have a peek! I think our students are already very nervous right now; this will be THE moment they’ve all been working for during the past school year. (I remember I was nervous the night before the show, haha.) I'm already curious, and I certainly will let you guys know how everything went! :D
