Long hair,flawless face, bright eyes and measurements you are dreaming about, Spain gave to the fashion industry Carolina Ballesteros. It is at the age of 14 that Carolina started modelling for worldwide magazines as Vogue or Elle. But it is at 16 that she launched her career at international level with IMG. Today Carolina.B is travelling from a country to another and experimenting a real model's lifestyle.

It's been awhile that The Core and Carolina are in touch, and therefore she nicely accepted to tell us what her life is really about.

  • What was your 1st photo shoot like? Nervous much or ''born for this,you can tell''?
Hahaha. To be honest, i don't remember. I'm a model since I'm 12 years old, but i think i was kind of excited!!
  • Do you feel like you have missed your early-teenage years ?
Not at all. I had such an amazing early teenage years! Modeling at first was my hobbie, not my full-time job. So i had time for "living my teenage life". 
  • What is the fashion industry like in your opinion? Is it as shallow as some people could imagine it?
It is really normal from the inside. People think fashion is  a wonderful world, but it is just a job with workers on it!!

  • How do you stay skinny?
It's because of my parents. But i have to say,  i have super healthy habits about food. So, it's a little of everything :P
  • Is there any pressure from your agency(eating habits,personal situation...)?
The pressure comes more from clients (photographers, designers...) than the agency.
But it's not that terrible as people think. hahaha.
  • Are you afraid of being seen just as a ''pretty face'' because you are a model?Do you wish people to focus more on your knowledge?
Sometimes that's really annoying, but sadly, that's sometimes kind of true... People focuses on the "pretty face" and not in the soul behind that.
  • What does your family and friends think about your job?
They are really proud of me! That's one of the best part of modeling. There is not a familiar lunch without talking about me and my job and it's very funny!

  • What was your best experience thanks to your job?
Traveling, amazing jobs, lifestyle... i don't know. You just can grow up as person and see everything from the "outside" of your "normal" life.
It's very interesting!
  • What would be your advice to become a model?
Follow your dreams, fight for it. The way to get to your dreams is often really difficult.
  • How do you imagine yourself in 10 years?
I have no idea!! I can't even know what i'm gonna do tomorrow, so... 10 years is too long!!

Born Perkins, Kimora Lee Simmons entered the Fashion industry at just 13 years old. Her first contract was with Chanel and spent most of her time with Karl Lagerfeld. She was the youngest model who had the chance to wear the wedding dress.

What is your favorite activity on the internet beside update your facebook account and twitter?
I guess shopping is one of them,otherwise Asos,Topshop and many others wouldn't have grown so fast within the last 10 years.

In Fact Asos was launched in 2000 and since it attracks 18.5 millions of visitors a month. Its elder, Topshop  exists as a store since 1964 however i can't tell you exactly when topshop has launched their website.But i am not here to talk about their history or to do a SWOT analysis of those brands (look at me showing my management skills).

The idea of this post is to find a cute dress for spring and/or summer at a low price. So let's see what these big retailers have to offer to us . (30£ = 36.3 euros= $47.69)

Here we go again! For the second time i am going to post about Stylistpick. Well if you do not know about , you better first read my previous post: My new way to shop!

Born in Kosovo,raised in London, tanned skin and blonde hair, she has it all!
Only 21 (26 November 1990) and already a talented singer, songerwiter and actress. Rita had the chance to work with musicians such as Craig David or Drake and is represented by Roc Nation thanks to Jay-Z.

Basically you take a quizz online, where you judge some outfits or pick your favorite one and so on...( i don't know why i love quizz so i quite enjoyed this part)


The result which is your ''Fashion profile'' will help their stylists to create your showroom: Shoes,bags and jewellery (no clothes). This step only take few days.

And once your showroom is ready, you are free to pick any of the items into it. The price is 39.95 pounds for all the item(+ Free delivery)and you have -10pounds for the 1st one.

No,no this blog ain't dead but i think we are all very busy with our own lives and we just ''forget'' to put few news on this blog.
So what happened so far for Manuela or Beny-as you like- ( me me and me)? Basically i'm now living in London and enjoying a Londoner's life, that's it!

So on Thursday night, my sweet Ash dragged me to this club called Cuckoo ( and i'm like fuck i never spell it right) with some frenchs friends of hers that were hosting.

Hola la gente! Since i have done my spanish oral exam, I can't stop speaking in spanish in my head! But hold up this is absolutely not the topic of this post.
As we said it on facebook and twitter  The Core is on holiday( at least 3 of them) and it feels so good!

The past years have been amazing for us,and we experimented different events and mostly in Germany such as MTV Europ Music Awards,Comet, Afterwork Parties and so on...But we have been  on the hold for awhile dealing with college things and work! However this summer things may change, as we also said it we are going to the cutest destinations.
Domien will be with her friends, and Magdalena,Julia and I are going on holiday together from the 11th of July to the 19th. Then I may host Domien in France for a week.

I am very happy that the The Core is gathering this summer ,I have missed Julia and Domien for months and months!

Hallo Wie gehts? Let’s start this post with some german words as  it is about a german photographer: Marco Rothenburger.
This guy is in my facebook friends since almost a year now and I usually take a look at his work as i love photography and i think his work deserves to be known.

M.Rothenburger is a german photographer from Saale,but  now living in Hannover.
He works with clients such as Elle,Clarins Paris, or New Yorker.

Which is a very creative website, i have been watching the intro again and again.

His work goes from Haute Couture to feminine beauty, and each of his photos is a new story that Marco(if i can allow myself) try to share with us.

PERSONALITY. What a funny word, but the funniest it is people pretending to have one when actually they are only a mix of different  people’s personalities.
I have never pretended  to have a personality.In Fact, I absorb the personalities of others and create mine from them. Call me chameleon!
I have always wondered why some people have a typical personality and the more i grow old the more i understand that you don’t choose to be a kind of person, life does it for you. The different persons you will meet, the different problems you will go throught will create who you are. This is what make you so special and unique. Because Life isn’t the same for everyone. I know naive people, short tampered people, selfish people, helpful,arrogant people and so on... The issue is that you cannot blame any of them for being who they are. Ok some may piss you off so bad but if they stay true to who they are  then it has to be ok for you.
I do not mean that  you cannot change someone’s personality. Of course you can,because you are this person who came into their life to make them change and improve their personality. You are only the X factor.

Moreover, if you don’t get along with someone maybe your both personalities are not meant to understand each other. Do not force yourself into being friend with someone when it is clearly not your “alter ego”. However i think that love is the only thing where you guys don’t need to be the same, “Opposites attract” . This is it! Because sometimes being the same is the worse thing in a realtionship. I mean do you imagine living in a world where everyone would be the same? NIGHTMARE for sure.
I have my personality, you have yours and that is what life is about : Meeting different people.

I do not know if i agree with the tittle of this post,actually i don’t know a thing about fashion. Whatever quick flash back, we will deepen this conversation in the following lines.

On Friday 22th (i had a thought for Rebecca Black), i went to Orléans - cute city not that far from Paris- to see my girl Magdaléna. I arrived in Orléans around 6pm, detrained and when she saw me, she said “ I love your outfit”.

I know what you might be thinking right now...I thought the same like : “She is just being nice saying this.” So when we went walking through the streets of Orléans she “pictured” my outfit. And here it is, above the text.

I am not going to do a long speech about how bad i am in fashion,i am not fashionable at all. I wear clothes because unfortunately,in France,it is a felony to go out naked , yes damn it!
Therefore, i hate fashion but i keep buying it! This is the magic of fashion!
I see a lot of nice clothes, yes i love it and admire these designers ( by the way my favorite one is Gabrielle Chanel ), they seem so inspired and passionate!

But i am sorry, i hate you guys who know what to wear.
I hate you people out there saying “This is out” and “This is in”.
I hate you “Fashion Police” ,Fashion cops my ass!
 But i love you,because you are good at it !

One week ago, I decided to listen to “old songs” you know these songs you heard when you were just 6 years old to 10-12! Of course as I was born in 1993 I'm talking about songs from the 90s. Anyway i found out this song  from Brandy and Monica “ The boy is mine”. I was singing it along as far as i could remember the lyrics. Then i “ youtubed” all the Brandy’s songs and i can say she is gifted (though i knew it )!
But what a pity she is not more famous in Europe, at least i can say in France. I do not mean that nobody knows about her. But she deserves more attention that what she actually gets! 

Even if Mrs Norwood  didn’t come out with a new song since 2008, Glee(the famous serie) made a "tribute" to her with this cover of the boy is mine.




I love this song , the lyrics the melody EVERYTHING is almost perfect. And at 1min18 you may see Bruno Mars: Brandy- Long Distance
Therefore, Brandy is a very talented person and I look forward to listening to her new album.
