"I always said that the right person would come along when all the stars aligned and that's exactly what happened."

If you are a little aware of everything that has recently been happening in the fashion world, then you must surely know who the creative director of Dior is. Exactly, Raf Simons. I am honored and proud that I can tell you that yesterday afternoon, Simons had his debut show for Christian Dior in Paris. If there’s ever been a show the fashion world has waited with absolute bated breath to see, it’s this one: Raf Simons’ debut for Christian Dior. The show could be followed online at Dior.com.

It is well known now, The Core loves to introduce you to new artists with their own perspectives and experience. So when we read our mails and saw an invitation to a Private View at the Italian Cultural Institute London, it was hard to resist to go and check what it was really about. So I took Alyssa with me as usual!

What the hell is going on?
Did you see that?!

Everything is changing. New trends (well, that's the definition of Fashion), new accessories, new way to wear bags or sneakers.
But more than this, even our icons are changing. I believe you see what I mean.

Raf Simons

It is time to celebrate our little Do's country. After being without Lead Designer for a bit more than a year, the great belgian designer Raf Simons is succeeding John Galliano in the great task of clothing Dior beauties. From a very different background than J.Galliano (one from the british cosmopolitan fashion and excentric design, the other from Industrial Design and music influence), Raf Simons is expected to be at a very important crossroads for Dior's future.

In 2010, this is what you could see from the famous french Maison, lead by Galliano...

Timeless goddess figures with flying fabrics and strong leather features.

Now, meet... The Pure Design by Raf Simons!

Raf Simons for Jil Sander.  Very straight and sharp shapes and colors. Raf gives us the image of a much more actual and "working girl" woman. He leads us to a place were Fashion and Architecture are united as one.

Emmanuelle Alt

Even if I am more a "Anna Team" girl in terms of Vogue Edition, the french Vogue is quite a huge inspiration, talking about Fashion Photography.
For ten years, Carine Roitfeld, the origin of Porno Chic trend, is now passing the torch to her former fashion editor in chief, Emmanuelle Alt.
According to her personnal style, we can expect from the beautiful 44 year-old  Emmanuelle a very elegant and actual content for Vogue, respecting the great magazine reputation of luxury and greatness.

Emmanuelle is married to designer Franck Durand, who created "Atelier Durand" and is also the artistic director for many luxury brands.
Carine Roitfeld is currently designing a make up line with M.A.C.
Everyone who loves the fashion of nowadays, sure likes the 'old' stuff as well.

"Yeah, that's what I'm working for. The couture house of the future."
-John Galliano

Hi there,

Some of you may know it, every year, Vogue celebrates Fashion worldwide.
As September is the most important month in fashion industry (Take a deep look at "The September Issue" if you have not yet!), Vogue chose to make it all happen on the 8th of September.

This is occasion to see all Luxuous Brands open until late at night. I attended the Vogue Fashion Night last year and I have to admit it is quite electric.

I did my first steps in Big Fashion, I would say, during my training in Paris. I have been lucky enough to attend fashion week 2010, Haute Couture and Ready to Wear sessions.
Stop talking, let's have a look...

Hello Cheekies,

Do not try to find any link between what I am about to write and the tittle. Anyway  I'd like to talk about an actual subject that concerns everybody....

SUNGLASSES.

Yes m'am, I am the kind of girl who buys 5 or 6 pairs every summer, and always breaks it.
BUT, I took my courage and broke my piggy bank to buy real hot and sexy sunglasses. Choice was hard. Many shapes, many colors, many brands (many prices :/):
